St. Michael’s School is a member of GRACEAC (Grand Rapids Area Catholic Elementary Athletic Council). GRACEAC is the governing agent for all interscholastic athletic programs of the Catholic schools in the Grand Rapids area. Through GRACEAC St. Michael’s School offers the following for 5th and 6th graders:

SMS students also participate in the following athletic programs offered through the City of Coopersville Recreation Department and/or the Coopersville Area Public School System.

Extra Curricular

Cub Scouts

St. Michael’s School charters its own Cub Scout Pack for boys in grades 1-5. The boys participate in both den and pack meetings, and are encouraged, as part of the program, to earn the Light of Christ and Parvuli Dei Catholic cub-scouting medals.

Basketball Clinics

SMS students frequently participate in after-school basketball clinics run by Jim McGannon and held in the SMS gym. For more information please contact the school secretary.
